We all have to start our kitcar film career somewhere!
Its got a soundtrack and everything.

Final Exhaust parts

The left hand image shows the final elements of the exhaust, the can is a standard ZX12R can which is a challenge to fit but will work. A little more grinding is needed on the header welds and heat wrap will be used to keep the engine bay temperature down as much as possible.

Headers finished

Last two pics, on the left pipe no.3 I found the best way is to tape the pipe ends together but they do have to be tight to make it accurate. On the right no.4 job done!!
All told if I had my time again I would give it to somone else to do but I [...]

Fuel tank design

This is the basic design of the fuel tank and I’ve sent it to Paul [at Spire] to check. He did add two 8mm pipes to this one for the fuel rail return and the other for a breather which I believe is an SVA requirement.

Prop shaft!

A very cool piece of kit….I’m sure you’ll agree! It’s an expensive one-off item but a crucial piece of the car that transfers power from the engine to the differencial. I will be installing this fairly soon and will show you the installation photos when ready.

All ready for floor pan

With the floor pan, prepped and mapped out, at this stage I am ready to bond and rivet the floor pan on. Needed an assisant to help lower the floor pan on the chassis, difficult to get in the right place, first time. Once the floor pan is on we turned the chassis over, [...]

More Rivetting

OK at this stage the two sides the front panel on the n/s and the front bulkhead panel are now bonded and riveted solid . The chassis is now upside down and ready for the floor pan !!!! its nearly a car?
