Electrics

At some of the kit car shows I’ve seen some great looking cars – look a little closer at the wiring and some look a little ropey. I am spending plenty of time in this area aiming to get the best standard of wiring possible for aesthetic reasons and efficiency.

Final Exhaust parts

The left hand image shows the final elements of the exhaust, the can is a standard ZX12R can which is a challenge to fit but will work. A little more grinding is needed on the header welds and heat wrap will be used to keep the engine bay temperature down as much as possible.

Sprocket and Hub

Floor pan fun….

It’s quite difficult to make out but this is the main floor pan marked out and drilled. As sad as it sounds I quite enjoyed doing this bit, what I didn’t like was the bad back I had for nearly a week, this is part of the blood sweat and tears!!!!

More Rivetting

OK at this stage the two sides the front panel on the n/s and the front bulkhead panel are now bonded and riveted solid . The chassis is now upside down and ready for the floor pan !!!! its nearly a car?

prep work

As you can see from the picture above the first panel has been preped and is ready for fitment. The tape is there to protect the powder coating on the chassis.
