New Gadget

This is an airless water filler, basically it creates a vacuum in the cooling system using compressed air…..not sure how it does it but it does it !
Then using the red taps shut the air down and open the coolant tap, the fluid is then sucked into the system to replace the vacuum.
I think its [...]

Gear Return Srings

This is my version of a gear return system. It is still in the development stages and I will get my first bit of film footage to show it working. There are two reasons for having this , one it gives a great positive gear change feel to the leaver and second it reduces the [...]

Dash Electrics

I am using an Acewell-3250 didgi dash for two reasons, one I think it looks cool and two they are relatively cheap. It comes with a temp. and speed sender the RPM can be taken directly off the ECU. I’ve also made myself a gear indicator which runs [...]

Basic loom

The car wiring is in two basic parts , one is for the engine ignition and the other a simple lights and switches. I’ve had the ignition loom doctored by Chris [ main man ] at Z CARS, he has cut out all the unnecessary parts of the original zx12r loom just leaving the [...]

Cool Gear

This idea was pinched from another GT-R, I have changed it slightly as I have my handbrake just below the gear lever. It consists of 12mm stainless bar bent in three places and 1/2 inch alloy plate. Luckily I have found a really good chap to do the engineering. He milled a curve to the [...]

Air scoop

The air scoop, I’ve been looking forward to sorting this, I’ve even bought myself a metal bender to get the crisp clean bends. not like the old days where I would thrash a peace of metal over half a brick to get it something like???? Picture on the left shows the card template, [...]

Front panel

Once the front panel is set and aligned I went about hinging it, my solution is two L shaped brackets mounted into each corner and secured into the front chassis member. The brackets look a bit excessive but better to be safe than sorry!
The picture on the right shows the shut lines between the front [...]

power bulge

The picture on the left shows the rear section married up to the middle, you can make out the spoiler at the rear and on the right picture you can see were the brackets for the spoiler follow through to the rear hinges. This is one of those times when you measure literally 10 times [...]
