This is the new reverse gear.
This is another one off item produced by Paul at Spire, it consists of starter/reverse of a Harley Davidson encased in two billet machined alloy end brackets and a steel outer case so as brackets can be more easily attached to the car.
I have Paul’s new improved reverse which has a hardened gear shaft and more teeth on the main gear so the car will move slower when engaged. Hopefully get a video clip of install soon.

The documentry of your build is excellent. Many new technical variations. I totally agree with Ron’s comments on workmanship. Look forward to seeing photos of the completed car. Liked the Youtube clip! Huge number of hits….the site is very popular.
