Coolant pipe work

This is the start of the pipe work, I have kept everything as close to the edge and the engine as possable as the exhaust is yet to be fitted

Fuel tank design

This is the basic design of the fuel tank and I’ve sent it to Paul [at Spire] to check. He did add two 8mm pipes to this one for the fuel rail return and the other for a breather which I believe is an SVA requirement.

Front engine mount

The picture shows the two front engine mounts. I had tacked in place and gave to an engineering buddy to weld properly. A great A1 weld job.

Milestone moment

Sump Cut Out

To start the engine fitment a whole needed to be cut out of the floor pan. This was done by hovering the engine over the floor pan. Lots of measuring and some ‘guesstimating’ was required. The taped off area to the right of the picture is the area I have measured out for the fuel [...]
